Tributes to my Revered father, Pastor Dr. Gabriel Oladele Olutola, JP: National President TACN & LAWNA Territorial Chairman.
Bible says, “Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.” Psalm 37:37. Baba, the news of your peaceful and glorious, however, sudden glorification came us like a rude chock. We glorify the Lord for the life of Christ Jesus you lived, to serve God and humanity with uncommon passion. As usual after exchanging pleasantries together on Friday 9th February, 2024, the last day of Biennial Council meeting; you prayed for me, not knowing that that was the last time I would see you in this Planet. Well, you deserved this kind of rest as you were honoured by your Redeemer who you served assiduously while here on earth.
You lived an impeccable life and left behind matchless legacies in the family, church and in ministry. What a wonderful leader you were. Your life style and leadership efficiency even to the National level of the Church is worthy of emulation. Even to leave the white house when the ovation was loud was unprecedented. Brethren, “…know ye not that there is a prince and a great man fallen this day in Israel? 2 Samuel 3:38.
Baba, you left us when you were needed most in the family and the ministry fronts. However, like Apostle Paul of old said, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:… 2 Timothy 4:7, exactly you did.
Sleep and rest on Baba at the bosom of your Redeemer until we meet to part no more. Good night.
