A TRIBUTE TO A GRACIOUS FATHER, SPIRITUAL MENTOR AND HERO OF FAITH

On behalf of the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Archbishop (Dr) Daniel C. Okoh and the entire CAN National Leadership, we join The Apostolic Church Nigeria and the entire Christian Community in Nigeria to commiserate with the Family of OLADELE OLUTOLA on the painful but glorious exit of an Hero of Faith in Nigerian Christianity, His Eminence, Pastor (Dr) Gabriel Oladele OLUTOLA, the immediate Past National President of The Apostolic Church Nigeria who also doubled as the 4th LAWNA Territorial Chairman of the church.

Pastor (Dr) Gabriel Oladele OLUTOLA was not just a leading minister of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, but an Ecumenical Figure whose roles and contributio1:1tso Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) as the Head of CPFN/PFN Bloc ( one of the 5 Blocs of CAN), cannot in any way be over-emphasised when writing the history of Christianity in Nigeria. Baba Olutola, as profoundly called, was indeed a great blessing to CAN and Nigerian Pentecostals at large. His wealth of knowledge and contributions to interfaith relations in Nigeria by means of his membership and involvement in the prestigious Nigerian Inter-Religious Council (NIREC) as the representative voice of all Pentecostal denominations in Nigeria, are very remarkable. He was like God’s angel sent to our world to carry out specific assignments for the Body of Christ in Nigeria.

We are thankful to God for the life you lived, so gracious, purposeful, eventful and very fruitful. Your influence and legacy will live on, to help us, each in our own way, to serve the Lord our God better. We shall live the remainder of our years stewarding the legacy of your ministry, bringing many sons and daughters into the Kingdom, and leading them into maturity to the Glory of Christ as you remarkably did. As we celebrate you, we also mourn the loss of a godly influence on the Nigerian Church and the world at large.

Adieu, God’s General Gabriel Oladele Olutola!

Adieu, a committed and faithful Spiritual Combatant in the Lord’s Army!!

Adieu, a Great Nigerian Pentecostal Hero of Faith and a Strong Pillar in CAN! I!

Till we meet again at the Lord’s Feet and part no more, sleep on at the Bosom of your Master and Saviour.
